Common questions
How do I know if my pool pump needs repair or replacement?
Usually age and motor condition decide it. A pump under 8 years with a mechanical issue is worth repairing. A single-speed pump over 10 years old is usually better replaced with a variable-speed unit that pays for itself in energy savings (SDG&E's TOU rates make this huge).
My pool heater shows an error code. Can you fix it?
Most of the time, yes. Common codes are ignition failure, pressure switch, or flame sensor issues — all field-serviceable. We'll diagnose first, then quote the repair.
Do you do warranty work on Pentair, Hayward, or Jandy equipment?
For equipment we installed, yes. For equipment installed by another company, we can still service it but warranty terms depend on who holds the warranty.
